MEAP – Michigan Education Assessment Program – This is the statewide assessment tool used to assess children in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies in grades 3-9.

MME Scores – The Michigan Merit Exam (MME) is the statewide test given to 11th grade students in March of each year.

The ACT is also given to 11th grade students and assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.
